Freak flag is one of those phrases I really appreciate. It’s a catchy way to express an important, meaningful concept. Plus, it prompts a great visual.
Urban Dictionary’s definition of freak flag includes, “a characteristic… of a person, either subtle or overt, which implies unique, eccentric, creative, adventurous or unconventional.
